Brandix - Terms & Conditions

Returns & Refunds

As all products supplied by Brandix are custom manufactured to individual customer specifications, they cannot be resold. For this reason, all sales are final.

In the event that an error occurs during production that is the responsibility of Brandix, we will reprint the affected order at no additional cost. Refunds or credits will not be issued.


Reprints

Customers must notify Brandix of any defects, damage, or missing items within 3 business days of receiving their order.

Brandix will not be responsible for claims reported after this period.

To qualify for a replacement order:

  • Customers must return at least 99% of the received products within 7 days of delivery.
  • Returned goods must be authorised in advance with a written Return Authorisation from Brandix.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Please note:

  • Rush production fees and expedited shipping costs are non-refundable, even if a reprint is issued.


Colour Accuracy & Hardcopy Proofs

Brandix will reproduce colours from submitted print-ready artwork as accurately as possible. However, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed due to:

  • Variations in printing processes
  • Differences in materials and substrates
  • Ink absorption and neighbouring colour interactions

Colour reproduction is typically accurate to approximately 90% of the approved proof.

For the highest level of colour accuracy, customers may request a hardcopy proof for an additional charge.

Brandix is not responsible for colour variations between:

  • Submitted artwork files
  • Screen displays
  • The final printed product


Digital Proofs

Digital or screen proofs are intended to verify:

  • Layout
  • Text content
  • Image placement
  • Proportions

They do not guarantee colour accuracy or density.

Brandix will make reasonable efforts to match colour gradients and tonal balance. However, the final appearance of colours may vary depending on printing conditions and finishing processes.

Please note:

  • Lamination, coatings, or finishes may alter the final colour appearance.
  • Brandix cannot be held responsible for colour shifts caused by these finishing processes.


Proofing & Artwork Approval

All orders require customer approval of final artwork and job specifications prior to production.

Customers will receive a digital proof and job specification sheet for review. It is the customer's responsibility to check all details including:

  • Design layout
  • Spelling and grammar
  • Dimensions
  • Folding and dieline accuracy
  • Production speed
  • Delivery requirements

Brandix strongly recommends printing the proof at 100% scale to verify layout and positioning.

Once approval has been given, production will proceed exactly as approved.

Brandix is not liable for errors present in approved artwork including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect text, spelling, grammar or punctuation
  • Image placement or orientation errors
  • Incorrect dimensions
  • Incorrect folds, slits or dielines
  • Incorrect fonts or formatting

Any issues must be reported before production begins.


Materials

Unless specifically requested in writing, the paper and board materials used by Brandix are not food-grade certified.

If your product requires food-safe materials, this must be communicated to Brandix prior to placing the order so suitable materials can be sourced.


Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before production begins.

Orders typically progress through the following stages:

  1. Order placed
  2. Artwork preparation / design processing
  3. Production / printing
  4. Dispatch and shipping

Cancellation terms:

  • Stage 1: £15 administration fee plus 5% of the order value
  • Stage 2: Minimum 20% cancellation fee to cover design and processing
  • Stage 3: Cancellation may not be possible. If cancelled, minimum 50% of the order value will be charged
  • Stage 4: Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped


Shipping & Delivery

Brandix will always aim to produce and dispatch orders within the agreed timeframe.

However, Brandix cannot be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier services
  • Weather conditions
  • Technical issues
  • Customs or import delays
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Production and delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

Large orders may be split into multiple shipments to maintain production quality and delivery efficiency.


Production Speeds

Brandix offers the following production options:

Standard Production

Priority Production

(additional fees apply).


Express Production
(additional fees apply).


Production timelines exclude weekends and public holidays.

Final artwork approvals received after 12:00 PM may add one additional business day to the production schedule.


Shipping

Free standard ground shipping within the United Kingdom is included with most orders unless otherwise stated.

Ground delivery typically takes up to 2 business days after production is completed.

Faster delivery services may be available for an additional fee.


Damaged or Lost Packages

Customers must inspect deliveries upon arrival.

If packages appear damaged or items are missing:

  1. Notify the courier immediately
  2. Contact Brandix within 3 business days

Brandix is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused during transit by third-party couriers
  • Claims reported outside the notification period


Quantity Variations

Due to industry manufacturing tolerances, orders may contain up to 5% over or under the ordered quantity.

Customers requiring exact quantities are advised to order approximately 10% extra.


Incorrect Shipping Information

Additional shipping charges may apply if orders must be reshipped due to incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.


Observed Holidays

Brandix observes the following UK holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • Early May Bank Holiday
  • Spring Bank Holiday
  • Summer Bank Holiday
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day

Production and shipping do not occur on these dates.
